Community Soccer Survey Results 2010 & 2011

Updated: June 6, 2011

NorthStar Edgemont Hamptons Soccer registered player's parents recently answered a survey to help clarify the priorities of competitive and recreational youth soccer players in three of the Northwest's Community-based Soccer Programs.

The 19 question survey was created to evaluate the effectiveness of current program and seek the opinions of the people in our clubs. In all, 318 respondents completed the task: 273 from competitive soccer and 65 from recreational programs. The high participation rates mean that statistically the results accurately reflect the membership's pulse on topics such as Evaluations, Competitiveness, Technical Training Services, Referee Program, and Fees. The general tone set by respondents was one of thoughtful contribution with a high degree of "customer satisfaction." See Survey Monkey chart shown here. Another underlying theme was the alignment of the three community programs with similar responses as illustrated in the Competitive Level question shown here. The respondents valued maintaining a cohesive skill level of players at all levels, including recreational programs.

Lucky respondents were chosen at random for entering the survey. Winners of the PASS Summer Camp FREE PASSES are: Parnal Sinha and Kelsa Blakley. Congratulations.

We thank each and every one of you for filling out the survey. The views presented will provide a foundation for the combining of clubs as they continue to move closer together.

Kind Regards,

NorthStar Edgemont Hamptons Soccer Executive
