2010/11 Indoor Registration

Updated: September 1, 2010

NorthStar Soccer and Edgemont/Hamptons Soccer Association have established an informal alliance. The objective is to work together to balance team roster numbers for the boys and girls across the age groups and tiers due to insufficient player registrations. We will be consulting together to deal with problem groups after registration and there may be circumstances where NorthStar registrants will play on an Edgemont/Hamptons team or vice/versa for the coming season.

Indoor soccer registration is for all ages from four (U6) to eighteen years old (U18), birth years 2006 to 1993. NorthStar Soccer is a Dalhousie and Varsity - City League Soccer program open to players from all communities; however, all registrants must purchase a Dalhousie or Varsity community association membership.

In-Person Registration

Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 7:00pm - 9:00 pm
Dalhousie Community Centre

On-line Pre-Registration is now open -- click here --.

On-Line Pre-Registration for the upcoming indoor season is encouraged for all players. The Pre-registration process provides a CONFIRMATION form which can be printed (both directly from the web page and as a confirmation email) for your records.

If you paid online, the following needs to be delivered to Varsity or Dalhousie Community Centre OR scanned and sent to Forms@NorthStarSoccer.ca on or before in-person registrations:

  1. Proof of age if this is the first season they have played CMSA city league soccer.
  2. If you didn't purchase a Varsity or Dalhousie community membership as part of online registration, you can do so separately online or at the community centre office.

If you are paying with cheques, the following needs to be delivered to Varsity or Dalhousie Community Centre on or before in-person registration:

  1. Cheque for registration fees (one cheque per family), payable to NorthStar Soccer
  2. Cheque for $100 uniform deposit post-dated to April 15, 2011, payable to NorthStar Soccer (one cheque per player)

  4. Cheque for Varsity or Dalhousie community membership payable to the community association.
  5. Proof of age if this is the first season they have played CMSA city league soccer.

CMSA WAIVERS: Calgary Minor Soccer has developed a new electronic waiver. When NorthStar uploads the current registrations to CMSA, an email will be sent to all parents with instructions on how to complete the waiver. We anticipate that this will be sent out in mid-September.

Registrations received after September 8th, 2010 are subject to a $40 late fee and will be placed on a wait list. This includes pre-registrations not submitted by September 8th. Players will be accepted in the program if space is available in their age group. NorthStar cannot and will not guarantee that teams will be entered for every age/gender group.
